Position Summary As a Medical Device Assembler/Polisher , you will be responsible for polishing, assembling, and finishing precision medical device components. This role combines fine polishing skills with hands-on assembly work to ensure that products meet Biolase MG's strict quality, performance, and cosmetic standards. You will work closely with the manufacturing team, following work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards to deliver reliable, safe, and effective medical devices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work from manufacturing work instructions, drawings, and specifications to polish and assemble medical device components. Clean and prepare parts using approved cleaning solutions and processes. Polish and finish components to specified cosmetic and dimensional requirements, ensuring surfaces are free from defects. Cement multiple lens assemblies and parts together using precision applicators and UV curing instruments. Assemble components with proper alignment and placement per engineering specifications. Measure and verify parts using optical comparators, power meters, and other precision instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional and performance standards. Identify and correct cosmetic or material defects, performing rework or repairs as needed. Complete all required manufacturing documentation and test procedures accurately and on time. Follow all QSRs, ISO standards, SOPs, workplace policies, and safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain high quality standards. Position Requirements 2+ years of experience in polishing, finishing, or assembly of precision parts (medical device or related industry preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cosmetic defects. Experience working with optical, electronic, or precision mechanical assemblies a plus. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and specifications. Familiarity with measurement tools such as comparators, microscopes, and power meters. Strong organizational and documentation skills.Preferred:
