Job Description

Job Title:
Medical Device Assembler in Santa Clara, CA! Job Description Join our team as a Medical Device Assembler, specializing in catheter assembly. You will work with small hand tools and adhere to strict quality policies and systems to produce medical devices. This role involves processing small parts under a microscope and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Assemble catheters using small hand tools such as tweezers and razors. Adhere to all company quality policies and systems. Maintain accurate records, including Lot History Records (LHR), and follow GMP/GDP policies. Process small parts under a microscope to meet the quality standard of 400 units a week. Ensure compliance with safety policies and practices, and escalate any product quality or workplace safety issues. Follow 5S principles and goals. Cut and trim catheters, operate balloon blowing machines, and align and layer plastic tubing and guidewires under a microscope. Perform UV curing and operate hot box machines. Work on the packaging line, including working with ovens and fridges to make hydrogel, and package catheters with hydrogel. Essential Skills Experience in catheter medical device assembly or medical device packaging. Ability to work with small parts under a microscope. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical field. Ability to work in a Controlled Environment Room with clean room experience. Good hand-eye coordination. Experience with GMP, GDP, and following MPI guidelines. Why Work Here? Shift/Pay Day shift:
6 AM to 2:30 PM plus OT $20-24/hr (based on years of experience) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
