Cleanroom Technician Job Description The Cleanroom Technician will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices in a controlled, sterile, and medical-grade manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures. Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products. Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test equipment. Participate in line meetings as needed. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements. Maintain cleanroom integrity by using proper attire and adhering to cleanroom environment practices and procedures. Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects. Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities. Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, QSR, and FDA regulations. Essential Skills Attention to detail and hand dexterity. Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment. Microscope experience is preferred. Experience in cleanroom, medical device, or manufacturing is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work with small plastic and metal components. Capacity to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Why Work Here? Business casual attire is required with a professional and clean-cut culture. The first shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, and the second shift is from 3:30pm to 11:30pm. Expect a 5-7 week training period. Jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, and colognes are not permitted. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
