Job Title:
Catheter Assembler - R
D ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE
$23/HR- $25/HR  Job Description Join our dynamic R D team as a Catheter Assembler, where you will focus on assembling catheters and sub-assemblies using small hand tools and microscopes. You will be responsible for documenting processes, performing visual inspections, and final packaging. The role involves working with short run builds, braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, and liner stretching. Additionally, you will work with catheters that have lead wires, requiring some soldering. Responsibilities Work as part of a team to assemble parts and sub-assemblies. Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. Manually assemble small parts under a microscope. Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. Package assembled parts and pick up, move, and sort small parts. Verify raw materials and lot numbers. Build products by following all processes and completing other assigned work while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics. Rotate as necessary and collaborate effectively with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally. Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures. Communicate the status of operations in a timely manner to management, including any safety and/or process problems. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience building catheters. Experience in manufacturing, performing visual inspections, and operating necessary assembly equipment. Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines. Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision. Experience reading blueprints. Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Medical device and clean room assembly experience. Experience with braiding, guide wire, and catheter assembly. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility is modern, clean, and features a spacious break room with a welcoming 'family' atmosphere. The position is located in a clean room where no makeup or jewelry is permitted, and clean room attire, including masks, gloves, hair nets, and smocks, must be worn. Some days may require up to 50% microscope work. The role is scheduled for the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with a $3 shift differential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
