Clean Room Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Clean Room Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling medical devices in a class 7 or 8 clean room environment. You will be assembling a drug delivery device used for patients with bladder cancer, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities Assemble drug delivery devices by inflating small tubes with nitrogen and loading the drug into the tubes. Use a small rod to position tablets within the tube and place spacers accordingly. Wrap a nitinol wire around the tube, forming it into a pretzel shape, and place it in a curing area for 24 hours. Inspect the assembled product under a microscope to ensure it meets quality specifications. Assist with packaging the product inside the cleanroom and prepare for final packaging outside the cleanroom. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in medical device manufacturing within a cleanroom environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in documentation, following GMP and cleanroom procedures. High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail and ability to work with small parts. Experience with hand tools and medical assembly processes. Why Work Here? The environment is well-lit, comfortable, and offers individual space and lockers. As part of the 1st shift, work hours are Monday to Thursday, from 10 am to 8:30 pm, with mandatory bi-weekly Fridays and optional additional Fridays. The dress code involves full gowning, including scrubs and a bunny suit, with individual changing rooms provided. Unlike many places, you are not required to arrive early to gown up; you can start the procedure at your shift start time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ham Lake, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
