Job Description

Clean Room Packager Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Clean Room Packager to support the assembly, packaging, and labeling of medical device components in a controlled clean room environment. This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality products used for surgical applications, requiring precision, consistency, and adherence to strict quality and cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble surgical instrument containers according to blueprints, work orders, and detailed work instructions Perform cross-functional duties including assembly, packaging, labeling, and kit packing of medical device components and test tubes Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, nuts, bolts, locking compounds) to securely and accurately complete assemblies Follow production travelers to gather materials and set up your workstation at the beginning of each shift Package, label, and box finished products in compliance with medical device and clean room standards Support shipping operations as needed, including preparing and labeling orders for distribution Maintain a steady production pace while ensuring accuracy, quality, and attention to detail Follow strict clean room protocols, including proper gowning procedures and no-makeup policies Utilize microscopes and inspection tools to verify product quality and ensure compliance Read and interpret work instructions and documentation to support regulatory standards and FDA audit readiness Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in accordance with company guidelines Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production goals Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions in English Strong verbal communication skills for training, teamwork, and audit support High level of hand dexterity for detailed assembly and packaging tasks Basic experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, nuts, and bolts Ability to follow blueprints, work orders, and process documentation accurately Capable of maintaining productivity while ensuring high quality standards Comfortable working in a clean room environment with strict protocols Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during shifts Preferred Qualifications 6+ months of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience (or strong entry-level aptitude) Experience in medical device, clean room, or regulated production environments Familiarity with labeling processes and compliance documentation Experience using microscopes or inspection equipment Willingness to assist with shipping and logistics tasks when needed Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently after training Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
