06/01/2026•05/31/2027 Role Overview BEPC Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Operator to support the production of high-quality medical devices for our client in Plymouth, MN. This position plays a critical role in the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and inspection of life-saving cardiac devices within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced production setting, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical devices including pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related assemblies. Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and work instructions with accuracy and consistency. Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation to ensure traceability and compliance. Utilize electronic data collection systems and manufacturing software as required. Communicate effectively with manufacturing leadership regarding production issues, solutions, and process improvements. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to support quality and operational efficiency. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment during operations. Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance. Prioritize tasks effectively while meeting production goals and deadlines. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with internal teams and visitors. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Basic computer and electronic data entry skills. Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle small components and parts. Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus. Preferred Experience Previous experience in medical device manufacturing, cleanroom production, electronics assembly, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred. Experience working within FDA-regulated or ISO-compliant manufacturing environments is beneficial. Work Environment & Dress Code This role requires adherence to strict cleanroom and production-area guidelines, including: Non-shedding, contamination-free clothing Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes No jewelry, makeup, nail polish, or scented products Compliance with gowning and safety procedures at all times Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment with strict quality and cleanliness standards.
