Medical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical components used in products like stents and catheters. The role involves working with coil winding machines and using microscopes for detailed inspections. Responsibilities Operate coil winding machines and perform assembly processes. Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes approximately 30-50% of the day. Work in the molding area to inspect and deburr parts using tools such as pliers and knives. Assemble components in the CEA assembly areas, using small hand tools and microscopes. Work in the laser welding area, welding and finishing small medical components. Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the implantable housings area. Ensure all parts are correctly assembled, deburred, and filed down as necessary. Work with microscopes and small hand tools in a cleanroom environment. Follow detailed written work instructions. Essential Skills 4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or small part assembly. Experience using microscopes. Hand dexterity for detailed assembly work. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Adaptability to cross-train in multiple areas. Mechanical inclination for working with machines. Experience in sewing or tasks requiring fine hand dexterity is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is primarily in a cleanroom, requiring gowning up with attire such as smocks and booties. You may also work in a non-cleanroom area with necessary eye protection. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with amenities like a workout facility and ping pong table. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.53/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
