Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and team-oriented O&P technician to join our Bohemia fabrication lab on a full-time basis. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, work well in a collaborative clinical environment, and want to be part of a team that genuinely improves lives — we want to hear from you. You'll work closely with our CPOs, clinical staff, and office team to fabricate, modify, and deliver high-quality custom devices for our patients. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, modify, and repair custom orthotic and prosthetic devices
- Cast preparation, filling, and stripping
- Plaster model modification
- Assist with device assembly and component fitting
- Perform finishing work including trimming, padding, and cosmetic finishing
- Support the clinical team during patient appointments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
- Follow all quality control standards and accreditation guidelines Requirements
- Prior experience in an O&P fabrication lab, 2+ years preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and clinical specifications
- Comfortable working with tools, materials, and fabrication equipment
- Team player with strong communication skills
