Job Description:
Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Test Operator for the 2nd Shift at their client's facility in Brea, California. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that requires a detail-oriented individual to set up and operate automated test equipment, ensuring the quality of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) is maintained. The position supports a dynamic production environment, offering a chance to contribute to the manufacturing process with efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities Follow manufacturing work instructions and use computer-guided test programs to perform quality checks on printed circuit board assemblies. Complete multi-step test procedures accurately to ensure all required test steps are executed. Evaluate products for pass/fail status and separate conforming units from defective ones. Operate barcode scanning equipment to maintain proper product identification and traceability. Maintain accurate test records in accordance with company policies, specifications, and customer requirements. Perform basic maintenance on test equipment, fixtures, and tooling while keeping the work area clean and organized. Contribute to team objectives by supporting production needs and collaborating effectively with coworkers. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required to meet the minimum educational standard for the role. Prior electronic testing or manufacturing experience is preferred to support success in a PCBA production environment. Effective communication skills in English are required for both written and verbal interactions. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary to complete documentation and recordkeeping tasks. Basic knowledge of electronic test tools such as digital multimeters and power supplies is required. The ability to determine pass/fail status of PCB assemblies based on established criteria is essential. The ability to read and interpret technical documents including work instructions, manuals, and safety guidelines is required. Required Work Hours The Test Operator position requires availability from Monday to Friday, during the 2nd Shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Benefits This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional Details This role is 100% onsite in Brea, CA.
