We're ready to meet you. We have an immediate opening for a skilled Pre‑Press Operator who can bring experience, precision, and energy to our team. Requirements 5+ years of machine operating experience ( Press Operator experience a strong plus ) Ability to perform quality checks using micrometers and visual inspection Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment Bilingual in Spanish Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time‑management skills Full Position Overview The Pre‑Press Operator plays a key role in supporting the Tooling Department by coordinating production tasks and ensuring high‑quality output.
Responsibilities include:
Operating rewinder equipment within a wide‑web flexographic printing environment Starting presses and adjusting speed, tension, and print alignment as needed Cutting and inspecting printed samples for imperfections Monitoring press operation systems and responding to fault or error messages Logging production data and maintaining accurate documentation Running roll‑to‑roll film on specialized printing equipment Maintaining consistent print quality throughout production runs Cleaning, lubricating, and performing weekly preventive maintenance on equipment Reducing waste and minimizing downtime Reviewing job orders to determine quantities, stock specifications, colors, and special instructions Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work with concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram‑based instructions
Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
