We're looking for a Molding Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a production environment, and understands that great products start with disciplined processes and attention to detail. The Role As a Molding Technician, you are integral to Pacific Rubber's production process. You'll set up, operate, and maintain high‑precision molding equipment to produce sealing components that meet strict quality, dimensional, and cleanliness standards. You'll be involved in the full production cycle—from material preparation and mold setup to part handling, inspection, and final packaging—working in a controlled manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role where operational excellence, consistency, and safety matter every day. What You'll Do Mold Setup & Operation Set up and operate molding machines according to production specifications Monitor production runs and adjust parameters to optimize cycle times and quality Material & Tooling Management Prepare and handle raw materials to prevent contamination Inspect molds and tooling for wear or damage and coordinate maintenance as needed Product Handling & Quality Control Prepare parts and perform quality checks at each stage of production Verify finished products meet dimensional, cleanliness, and workmanship standards Partner with the Quality team to address any deviations or nonconformances Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine equipment maintenance Diagnose and respond to process issues to minimize downtime Act as a first responder to production disruptions and collaborate with Maintenance Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area Immediately report unsafe conditions or concerns Documentation & Team Collaboration Accurately record production data and key performance metrics Support continuous improvement initiatives Participate in team meetings and assist with training new team members Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals What You Bring Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a molding or manufacturing environment Hands‑on experience with machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance Ability to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and proper use of PPE Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity Desired Qualifications Certification in molding, machine operation, or related manufacturing technology Experience with inspection techniques and quality standards Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and meeting production goals Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work cooperatively in a production environment Experience & Education High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of experience in a molding, manufacturing, or production environment preferred Additional technical, vocational, or trade training in manufacturing, molding, machine operation, or industrial technology is a plus Basic proficiency with computer systems and digital tools used in manufacturing environments Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, email) Ability to accurately enter production data, complete documentation, and follow written work instructions Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and production technologies What We Offer Hourly pay range: $25.00-$29.00 non-exempt (based on skills, experience, and business needs) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching 9 paid holidays plus paid time off Work-Life Balance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Stable, full‑time employment in a safety‑focused, process‑driven environment At Pacific Rubber, customer experience is engineered intentionally, thoughtfully, and together.
