Role:
ITest Inc is looking for a skilled Semiconductor Test Operator to join our growing team in San Jose, CA — the heart of Silicon Valley. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where your precision and expertise truly matter.
Responsibilities:
Operate automated test equipment (ATE) to perform functional and parametric testing of semiconductor devices Load and unload wafers, dies, or packaged ICs onto test handlers and probers Monitor test yields and report anomalies or out-of-spec results to engineering staff Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting Document test data, lot traveler information, and production records accurately Follow ESD protocols, cleanroom procedures, and all safety guidelines Collaborate with process and test engineers to support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in electronics preferred Prior experience in semiconductor testing, wafer probing, or back-end manufacturing a plus Familiarity with ATE platforms, test handlers, and probe stations Basic understanding of electrical components, circuits, and semiconductor devices Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise written procedures Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to ESD safety standards Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a production shift environment
