Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. The most important requirement for this position is hands-on experience performing complete mold changes on injection-molding machines. Candidates must be able to remove, install, connect, set up, and prepare molds for production. Responsibilities Perform complete mold changes and machine setups Remove and install molds using cranes or hoists Connect water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical lines Set machine parameters and prepare equipment for startup Start injection-molding machines and verify proper operation Adjust temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time, and other processing parameters Troubleshoot molding defects, equipment problems, and production interruptions Perform first-piece inspections and make adjustments to meet specifications Monitor product quality and maintain consistent production output Perform preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs Work with hot-runner systems, temperature controllers, robotics, vacuum systems, and related equipment Document mold changes, adjustments, downtime, and production activity Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Required Qualifications Previous experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician, Mold Technician, Mold Setter, or Setup Technician Hands-on experience changing and setting up molds on injection-molding machines Ability to troubleshoot molding defects and adjust processing parameters Experience using overhead cranes or hoists for mold changes Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of injection-molding equipment Ability to read work instructions, setup sheets, and production specifications Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Preferred Qualifications At least three years of injection-molding process or mold-change experience Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, robotics, or automation Knowledge of plastics, resins, hot-runner systems, and material-change procedures Preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting experience

Important:

Candidates with only machine-operator experience and no hands-on mold-change experience will not qualify for this position.

Pay:

$25.00 - $29.03 per hour
