Swiss Lathe Operator

We are seeking a Star Swiss Lathe Operator to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd or 3rd shift upon completion of training. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining Star Swiss-type CNC lathes to produce high-precision components in accordance with blueprint specifications and quality standards.. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Star Swiss CNC lathe machines Interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Ensure parts meet strict quality requirements Make tool offsets and minor program adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements Blueprint reading proficiency Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) Strong focus on producing quality parts Positive attitude and strong mechanical aptitude Reliable attendance and punctuality No cell phone use permitted on plant floor Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
