Role Description This is a part-time, consultant role for an Injection Molding Process Technician based in Port St Lucie, FL. Ideal candidate must be familiar with different types of polymers, mold operation, machine set, overseeing and optimizing injection molding processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all products adhere to quality control standards. Additionally, the technician will assist in training operators and work towards improving process efficiency and consistency to meet production goals. Qualifications Strong skills in Troubleshooting and identifying root causes of equipment issues Experience in Quality Control practices to ensure product standards are met Knowledge of Process Engineering, with a focus on optimizing molding operations Experience with Preventive Maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency Ability to provide effective Training and guidance to team members Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree preferred) Experience in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment is a plus
