What You ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
Execute Changeovers:
Efficiently remove and install molds using hand tools, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
Optimize Processes:
Set up and adjust machine parameters to achieve optimum cycle times and the best possible part quality.
Ensure Quality:
Inject and review the "first article" to secure Quality Control (QC) sign-off.
Drive Safety & Improvement:
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. What We re Looking For (Requirements):
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Proficient with mechanical hand tools (wrenches, pliers) and basic computer literacy.
Physical Capabilities:
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, with the ability to operate a forklift.

High SchoolResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the Mold Setter Supervisor, the Mold Setter is responsible for safely and efficiently removing and installing molds in injection molding machines. This role involves setting up process conditions, reviewing machine settings for optimal performance, and injecting the "first article" for Quality Control (QC) inspection and sign-off.
Key Responsibilities Mold Setup & Changeovers:
Efficiently remove and install molds using hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers) in a timely manner while strictly following company safety procedures.
Process Optimization:
Set up and review machine process conditions to ensure the highest part quality at optimum cycle times.
Quality Assurance:
Inject the first article and verify initial production quality to secure QC sign-off before full production runs.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company safety policies and practices. Ensure all jobs are completed safely, properly, and within estimated timeframes.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in initiatives related to improving safety, mold efficiency, machine performance, and overall product quality.
