This is not a production machining role. You will build brand-new precision steel molds from start to finish while working with some of the most advanced tooling and machining equipment in the industry. Projects involve extremely tight tolerances — often measured in microns — requiring exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and problem-solving. What You'll Do Build new precision steel injection molds. Machine mold components using CNC mills, EDM sinkers, EDM hole burners, lathes, grinders, mills, and saws. Read engineering drawings, CAD files, and specifications. Assemble, fit, troubleshoot, and inspect mold components. Use microscopes and precision measuring equipment. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams. Support tooling improvements and new mold development. Potentially lead tooling projects. What We're Looking For 2-5 years of mold making, tool & die, or precision machining experience OR completion of a Tool & Die program. Experience building molds and tooling components. CNC mill and EDM experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD files. Experience working to tight tolerances. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Stable work history and long-term mindset. Preferred Experience Mastercam
