Mold Setup Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mold Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up molds for plastics blow molding and injection molding, processes to ensure efficient production runs. Condensed list of Duties Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot molds for plastics blow molding & injection molding to ensure proper operation. Handle molds and materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve setup efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Document setup procedures, inspection results, and maintenance activities accurately for traceability. Assist with assembly of molds and components using hand tools and fabrication techniques. Preferred, not mandatory Experience Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on plastics processing such as blow molding, injection molding, etc. Hands-on knowledge of mold setup, machining (CNC lathe), fabrication, and assembly techniques. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge
