MercyOne Genesis | Stronger. Together. As One! Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Casting Technician As a Casting tech at MercyOne, you will be responsible for escorting patients to casting area, and prepares them for application
  • Applies, modifies, repairs, fits and removes casts, splints, braces and dressings, as directed by physician
  • Educates patients about cast care and follow up instructions
  • Ensures the proper maintenance, record keeping, and ordering of tools, equipment and/or inventory and provides training for nursing, ancillary staff, and students
  • Replenishes supplies—stocks and cleans casting area

Full time 1.0 (40 hours per week) Day Shift General Requirements 2 years experience in a physician clinic or hospital setting preferred Registered or Certified Orthopedic Technician (ROT), experience in orthopedic care and medical assistant experience a plus
