Job Description

Overview Join our manufacturing team as an Injection Mold Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality plastic components. In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor injection molding machines, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the production process. Your expertise will contribute to delivering top-tier products that meet strict quality standards, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in plastics manufacturing and machining. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastics injection molding machines to produce consistent, high-quality parts. Perform routine quality inspections Conduct material handling tasks including loading raw materials, managing resin supplies, and ensuring proper storage of materials Maintain detailed documentation of production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Assist in assembly processes as needed and support warehouse operations with forklift operation for materials movement. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems safely. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge Hands-on experience with hand tools, materials handling equipment including forklifts, and warehouse procedures. Knowledge of plastics processing techniques including injection molding, Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for setting up machines and verifying measurements accurately. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement within production workflows. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machinery issues promptly.
