Description Overview :

PrePress Manager Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Responsible for producing final press ready PDF pages & proofs for projects Convert supplied files and or use supplied instructions to create final files Apply trap and print specifications to files Ensure high resolution images are connected to page layouts Check for page bleed, misaligned font type, perform any image/tint merges as needed Output plates for the offset department Compliance with all data integrity Follow all QC measures assigned to the PrePress department
Qualifications:
5+ years in prepress - direct mail & marketing industry preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Pitstop Knowledge of Kodak Prinergy, Workshop, Preps Knowledge of Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Microsoft Excel & Word Excellent attention to detail Must have excellent verbal & written communication Must be solution oriented Experience handling a variety of pre-press projects
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This job requires you to sit in a cubicle or office, on a computer (1 or more monitors) for the majority of the day. Cutting physical proofs with sharp objects Assist in maintenance aspects within the department May be required to work extended/evening hours as needed. Ability to walk up & down stairs. 1st Shift Position
