Job Title:
Grinder Operator Job Description Set up and ensure the machine operates efficiently, adhering to quality and industry standards. Understand the mechanics of Cincinnati Grinding machines, including fixture, grinding speeds, and grinding rates. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and set up Cincinnati Grinder #3 (EAs or OMs) and Twin Grip grinding for OD. Demonstrate knowledge and experience with Twin Grip Grinders, Mecco/Medart Straighteners, Chamfer Machines, and Air Compressors. Set up and operate machines according to work orders and specifications. Select, place, and secure tools; place and secure workpieces on the machine table. Prepare fixtures and feeding devices, start machines, and engage feeds. Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision. Sharpen tools using a bench grinder. Essential Skills 10 years of experience performing centerless grinding. Experience with Cincinnati Grinding machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in using tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in machining and deburring. Why Work Here?
