This position performs mold changes, machine start-ups, process adjustments, troubleshooting, and process control to ensure quality and productivity. 3rd
Shift:
M-F, 10:45 PM-7:00 AM \| \$28-\$32/HR depending on experience + \$2.50 Shift Differential +

Responsibilities:
Maintain process control on injection molding machines. Perform complete mold changes and machine start-ups. Make process/parameter adjustments to maintain quality. Set up end-of-arm tooling and support robot adjustments. Troubleshoot molding processes to reduce downtime and scrap. Work with gas-assist, two-shot, high-cavitation and automated insert molding. Document critical process parameters. Assist with material and color changes. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
3+ years of injection molding setup/process technician experience required. Experience with complete mold changes, start-ups and process troubleshooting required. Gantry-mounted robotics experience required. Sepro, Yushin, STAR or similar robot experience preferred. Strong injection molding/process control knowledge. Experience with end-of-arm tooling. Knowledge of water flow/temperature, resin drying, shear heat and screw design. Experience processing glass-filled nylon and other resins preferred. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Robot programming/teaching experience preferred. Gas-assist, two-shot, high-cavitation or insert molding experience preferred. High School Diploma/GED required; technical training preferred. English required; bilingual English/Spanish helpful. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
