In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our plastics injection molding processes. Your expertise will help produce high-quality plastic components, maintain equipment performance, and support overall manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastics injection molding machines to ensure optimal production output and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and adjustments on injection molding equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensional accuracy of molded parts. Monitor process parameters through programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and make necessary adjustments for consistent product quality. Handle materials safely and efficiently, utilizing materials handling equipment such as forklifts when required. Document production data, process changes, and quality issues accurately; participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve workflows. Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management related to raw materials and finished goods. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plastics injection molding process. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine control and troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of quality inspection techniques to ensure products meet specifications. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in production processes. Ability to handle materials safely while maintaining high standards of safety compliance across all operations.
