Process Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and improving the operation of injection molding machines and molds while ensuring safety and quality. This is a 2nd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities Mold Maintenance and Operation :

Take molds apart, clean them, check for damage, make repairs or arrange for repairs, and reassemble them. You'll also handle mold setup, ensure proper storage, and prepare them for use.

Training and Safety Leadership :

Train new technicians on safe mold handling and machine setup, teach safety procedures like lockout/tag-out and equipment handling, and provide expertise to keep the work environment safe and efficient.

Teamwork and Coordination :

Work with other technicians and departments to ensure machines and molds are ready for production. Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors to organize repairs, storage, and other tasks.

Advanced Technical Skills :

Learn advanced skills in hydraulics, electrical systems, and molding processes, and use specialized tools and systems to analyze and improve machine performance. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and safety-focused teamwork to keep the production process running smoothly. Experience This role requires a high school diploma or GED certificate. Experience successfully operating and maintaining the machinery associated with plastic injection molding. Experience operating and maintaining any heavy manufacturing equipment. Customer Focus, Attention to Detail, Quality focus and Continuous Improvement focus are essential to excel in this role.
