Job Description

About the Role As a Metal Casting Production Associate, you will play a vital role in our heavy industrial manufacturing operations, ensuring that high-quality iron components are produced efficiently. You will gain hands-on experience with machinery and material handling, contributing directly to our production throughput and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Responsibilities Operate industrial machinery and hand tools to meet daily production targets and delivery schedules. Execute visual quality inspections to identify casting defects and ensure adherence to product specifications. Follow detailed process control documents and work instructions to maintain manufacturing consistency. Participate in 6-S workplace organization and environmental safety programs to uphold facility standards. Perform manual material handling, including lifting components up to 50 pounds, to support workflow. Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow and resolve operational bottlenecks. Required Skills Proven track record of reliability and consistent attendance. Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions and safety protocols. Strong work ethic with the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing or foundry setting. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Knowledge of EHS management, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Experience with production planning or process optimization software.
