Job Description

Molding Production Specialist Overview:
The Molding Operator plays a vital role in the Molding Department by efficiently producing and rigorously inspecting components to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
Prioritizes safety, quality, and efficient product delivery in all tasks. Establishes and sustains a well-organized 5S working area. Utilizes and maintains visual management tools to ensure clear communication and workflow. Follows all environmental guidelines and safety regulations, including proper PPE usage. Promptly communicates any environmental concerns or safety incidents to management. Willingness to work overtime when required with limited notice. Perform tasks effectively and independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and is willing to cross-train on other molding presses and/or other departments. Contributes effectively to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Physically capable of lifting to 30 lbs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates the following: Preference for a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus. Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, as well as communicate clearly with various colleagues. Competency in basic mathematical calculations. The ability to use common sense and reasoning to understand and execute instructions presented in various formats. Must be able to solve basic problems involving concrete details in standard situations. Identify and record any problems in products, processes, and/or quality systems. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through established systems. Verify the implementation of solutions to ensure successful resolutions. Contain non-conformities and alter the process until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected.

The employee may encounter exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The employee may also encounter wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, working in high, precarious places, proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to electrical shock and radiation. Noise levels are moderate. The employee will need to wear shoes, a shirt and all protective equipment relevant to working with hazardous chemicals.
