Blow Mold Master Operation Technician - 3rd Shift Dairy Farmers of America United States, Massachusetts, Franklin Apr 10, 2026 Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is excited to announce an opening for a Blow Mold Master Operator Technician 3rd Shift! We offer excellent benefits and competitive pay with great growth opportunities! 3rd Shift Monday thru Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Sign on Bonus of $1,500 for External Candidates Rate $22.25/hr. + $1.50/hr. Shift Dif. (2nd and 3rd Shift)
GENERAL PURPOSE
Demonstrate proficiency in a range of processes, procedures, and equipment to perform various operator roles, including those of a highly skilled nature, in the plant production environment. Serve as a resource to others to solve problems and/or assist with operator activities or production equipment.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of line duties within the manufacturing environment to include highly skilled / senior-level processing, machine operator, and/or break relief operator jobs (e.g., Receiver, Blend/Filler/CIP/Retort/ Evaporator/Pasteurizer operators). This may include troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance repairs
- Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production line
- Ensure that the proper materials are used for each product being produced
- Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
- Review charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment; complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run
- Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complicated operating difficulties
- Maintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
- Review process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot
- Assist with training efforts in functional area as needed
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry
- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employme
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Considerable knowledge of plant operations
- Proficiency with company computer systems
- Able to operate production equipment, components, and peripheral accessories
- Able to take initiative in performing job and seek increased responsibilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow directions and meet deadlines
- Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems
- Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
