AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

OVERVIEW
  • Join a team supporting injection molding automation.
Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting role working 12-hour shifts (days or nights) to maintain custom automation cells and multi-axis robotics.
HOURS & PAY
  • Flexible 12-hour shifts: days 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or nights 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
  • Pay:
    \$26.00 per hour and up (based on experience)
  • Shift differential: +\$1 day, +\$2 night
  • Some weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform corrective maintenance on automation packaging cells and robotics
  • Support continuous improvement and production process enhancements
  • Train and provide feedback to Operator Technicians
  • Use tools and data to predict maintenance timing and ensure asset strategies are executed
  • Log issues/repairs and escalate via
SAP/CMMS
as needed
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ year applying electrical and mechanical principles to motors, drives, belts, bearings
  • 1+ year operating high-speed machinery (injection molding, paper, corrugated, etc.)
  • Experience in industrial operations and equipment maintenance
  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-year degree in Electronic/Mechanical Technology OR 5+ years electrical/mechanical maintenance/troubleshooting
  • Basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with injection molding equipment
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis techniques
