Tooling Technician

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

1) Inspection & cleaning of all molds2) Assist Toolmakers with internal repairs & mold evaluations3) Inspection of molds after external repair/test runs4) Maintain mold boxes and skids5) Assisting with crating/uncrating tolls & components6) Update mold maintenance databases7) Prepare written reports when required8) Participate in department projects as needed9) Personal Safety and following all Safety Rules10) Housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1) Working knowledge of

ISO 9000/QS

9000 and SQF2) Minimum 5 yrs experience in injection molding3) Experience related to quality testing, inspection, & measuring of plastic parts4) Ability to properly start/shut down injection molding machines and support equipment including robots5) Ability to accurately follow both written & verbal directionsThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $25.00 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $ 25.00 per hour and $38.00 per hour.
