Preparing injection molding machines, auxiliary equipmentand setting molds into machines. This includes setting barrel heats,process, robot, end of arm tooling (EOAT), nozzle replacement and anyconnections (water, air or hydraulic) lines. Pulling existing mold frompress and place all equipment not used into proper location. Support materialhandler responsibilities. Fill out all necessary paperwork.

This role is for 2nd Shift with hours of 3:30pm-12:00am.
Job Responsibilities:
Read operator and setup instructions. Fully understand thefunction of the mold, such as hydraulic core sequence, water diagram, etc.

Setting barrel heats, after ensuring that IMM is purged outof previous material.

Clean mold's back plates (clamping surface) and platens before and after eachmold change.

Installation and removal of molds in accordance to theestablished procedures.

Use of crane in accordance with the establishedprocedures.

Install all related connections needed for a mold change.

Install pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical signals, hotrunner, RJG, cores, without damaging them, verifying for leaks and propersignal relation.

Ability to follow water line diagram, if needed, fill out water diagram.

Ensure all water lines are connected, flow verified, and safety locksinstalled.

If needed hydraulic and/or pneumatic lines are connected and tested for properfunction.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment for all employees by performingyour assigned duties.

Complete required paperwork and any necessary documentation in an accurate andtimely manner.

Maintain all working areas to be free of any trip hazards, removal of all theunused component from the surrounding area of the IMM when completing the moldchanges.
On-Site:
This role is required to be on-site 5-6 days at the Clinton Township, MI location.
Qualifications Qualifications and Skills:
High School Education or Equivalent (GED) preferredAble to prioritize safety and best practices on mold setup.

One to three months on the job training; is required for the assignment.

Good attendance is a requirement for this position.
Compensation:
The expected pay range for this position is $22.00-$25.00/hour.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors,including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, andgeographic location.
