Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Assist with plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, and fabrication processes as needed to support production flow. Conduct visual inspections and utilize quality inspection procedures to detect defects or inconsistencies in molded parts. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine logs, and quality reports in compliance with lean manufacturing practices. Experience 3+ Years of experience operating plastics injection molding machines in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of CNC lathes, CNC machines, press brake machines, and other fabrication tools is advantageous. Familiarity with plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, machining techniques, and assembly processes. Hands-on experience with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
