A steel manufacturing company based in Warren is looking for a Slitter Operator with experience operating a loop slitter, as well as experience setting up steel slitting heads, or similar sheet steel processing equipment.

DUTIES INCLUDED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Work safely with high-speed steel processing equipment Safely and accurately operate slitter Supervise and direct slitting assistants and set-up person to ensure quality results Set up slitter heads Check and prepare raw materials Ensure master coil dimensions are correct Set up re-coiler for material being slit Band and label material accurately after slitting Unload slit material with fork-lift if qualified

• Micrometer

COMPENSATION

Hourly rate starting at $25 - $32/hr, based upon experience Health Benefits and bonus available Profit-Sharing, 401(k), and paid vacation time available for committed employees
