Material handling, picking, and general labor experience in a production environment. Familiarity with inventory or production systems; experience with SAP or similar software is preferred. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems with training. Ability to consistently lift 50-75 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Why Work Here? Employees benefit from a comprehensive rewards package that supports both financial security and work-life balance. The company offers regular hourly pay increases after permanent hire, shift differentials, and quarterly bonus opportunities tied to group production goals. Health care coverage is fully paid for employees under a specified salary threshold, and a competitive 401(k) program includes a guaranteed match with the potential for additional matching when employees contribute more. Team members enjoy generous time off, including three weeks of vacation and nine paid holidays once they become permanent employees. The organization values long-term growth, invests in thorough on-the-job training, and provides a stable, production-focused environment where strong performers can build a lasting career. Work Environment This position is based in a chemical mixing plant with an active industrial setting. The work involves frequent lifting of heavy materials, including weights of 50-75 pounds on a consistent basis, and regular operation of sit-down forklifts. A long-sleeved shirt is mandatory every day regardless of temperature, and adherence to all safety and protective clothing requirements is essential. The role follows a 2nd shift schedule of 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on a rotating 2-2-3 pattern, with initial training on 1st shift (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) typically lasting 1 to 3 months depending on individual progress.
