Maple Grove, MN Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00

Temp-to-Hire Job Summary A growing manufacturing company in Maple Grove is seeking an experienced and reliable Injection Molding Operator to join its production team. This position is responsible for operating and assisting with the setup of injection molding equipment, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable working with manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate injection molding presses and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor daily production to ensure schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals are achieved. Assist with mold setup, machine startup, and process adjustments as directed. Read, complete, and maintain process documentation and production records. Conduct routine inspections to verify product quality and identify defects. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues while working with production and quality teams to implement solutions. Perform basic preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning as required. Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, workplace organization, and continuous improvement efforts. Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Handle molds and materials safely, including transporting, cleaning, and storing molds as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic math skills and the ability to follow written instructions. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications Previous injection molding experience. Experience setting up molds and performing machine changeovers. Two-year technical degree or related technical training. Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
