Skilled in Injection molding machine setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting, with strong mechanical aptitude and a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. To be considered must have 2 min years of experience in an injection molding or manufacturing environment. About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Molding Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure high-quality production and optimal efficiency. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, improving processes, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.

The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role supports manufacturing operations by optimizing machine performance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining consistent production standards in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Set up, start up, and shut down injection molding machines in accordance with production schedules Install, remove, and perform mold changeovers , ensuring proper alignment and functionality Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to maintain optimal production performance Troubleshoot molding defects such as short shots, flash, warping, and cosmetic issues Monitor machine performance and ensure products meet quality standards and specifications Perform preventive maintenance on molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, conveyors, and grinders Document process changes, production data, and maintenance activities accurately Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve cycle time, and increase efficiency Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S principles Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED ( Required) 2-5+ years of experience in injection molding or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills ( Required) Experience with mold setup and machine adjustments Knowledge of plastic materials and processing Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and quality control While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
