Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Operate traditional manual lathe. Set up machines and perform all adjustments manually including speeds, feeds, and tooling. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications. Select tooling, materials, and machining methods without automated programming. Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Monitor machine performance and make real time manual adjustments to ensure quality. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace. Support team members and assist with shop tasks as needed
Qualifications:
1 to 3 years of hands on experience operating manual lathes. Strong ability to manually control speeds, feeds, and tool positioning. Proficient in blueprint reading and precision measurement. Experience with grinders and other manual shop equipment preferred. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently in a production environment.
