Mold Technician
- Off Shift Enhanced Manufacturing Solutions (EMS)
Brookhaven, MS Pay:
$18.00- 23.
Schedule:
Full-Time | Off Shift Position Summary Enhanced Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) is seeking a Mold Technician for our Brookhaven, Mississippi operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, good troubleshooting skills, and experience working with industrial equipment, machinery, tooling, automotive repair, or similar mechanical systems. Previous injection molding experience is preferred but is not required for a candidate with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly. This is a hands-on technical position that requires good judgment, attention to detail, dependability, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities Perform mold changes, setups, and production start-up support Safely install and remove injection molds Connect water lines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components Inspect molds and tooling for wear, damage, leaks, and other issues Perform preventive maintenance and minor mold repairs Troubleshoot mechanical, tooling, and production issues Assist with diagnosing equipment problems and minimizing production downtime Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and shop equipment Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all plant safety requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience working with machinery, equipment, tooling, automotive repair, industrial maintenance, or a related mechanical field Ability to use hand and power tools safely Ability to understand and follow mechanical procedures Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to learn new equipment and processes quickly Strong safety awareness Dependable attendance and work history Ability to work independently after training Willingness to work an off-shift schedule and overtime as needed Injection molding or mold-change experience is a plus, but we will consider mechanically skilled candidates from other backgrounds. Compensation $18.00- 23.
