Cutting/Rolling Shop Supervisor Job Summary The Level I Bending Roll Operator is responsible for operating bending rolls and performing welding, grinding, and gouging tasks. This position also requires crane operation and fitting rings and parts. Employees in trainee status will work under supervision until achieving Level II qualification and certification. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and temperature extremes within the facility. Occasional exposure to outdoor or extreme job-site conditions may occur. Noise levels in the work environment are frequently loud. Essential Physical Requirements The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Regularly required to talk and hear Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and squat throughout the workday Positioning requirements include: Standing- 75% Walking
- 5% Bending
- 5% Twisting
- 5% Kneeling
- 5% Squatting
- 5% Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Position Type and Work Schedule This is a full-time position.
Standard work schedules are:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m.
