Job Description

Machine Operator - Foundry Manufacturing Monroe, NC Full-Time | Weekly Pay + Benefits Pay based on experience Position Overview Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking dependable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join our Foundry Operations team in Monroe, North Carolina . In this role, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used in the production of cast metal components for the commercial vehicle industry. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced foundry environment. Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Load and unload materials, castings, and components from production equipment. Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines. Record production data and complete required documentation accurately. Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic preventative maintenance tasks. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles. Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience Previous manufacturing, machine operation, foundry, casting, or production experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment safely. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and measurement skills. Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Comfortable working in a manufacturing and foundry environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, and other safety gear.
