Job Description

1.
General Overview:
The Injection Mold Setter is responsible for assisting Process Technicians with mold changeovers and setup activities within the molding department. This position focuses on safely installing and removing molds, preparing machines for setup, maintaining mold storage areas, and supporting efficient production changeovers. 2. Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Install and remove injection molds from molding machines. Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely. Clean machine platens before and after mold changes. Move molds between storage locations and production equipment. Assist Process Technicians during changeovers. Maintain organization of molds, tooling, and setup equipment. Perform housekeeping duties within the molding department. Inspect molds for visible damage and report concerns to supervision. Follow all safety procedures and requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with other molding department duties as assigned. Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Ability to safely operate an overhead crane or willingness to be trained. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills Ability to speak, read, and write English Scientific molding certifications a plus Ability to work overtime Mechanically inclined. Safety oriented. 3.

Normal Work Hours 1st
Shift:
From 7:30 am To 4:00 pm From Monday to Friday Normal Work Hours 2nd
Shift:
From 3:30 pm To 11:30 pm From Monday to Friday 4.

$12.00 per hour
