Molding Operator - 2nd Shift - Winston-Salem, NC Cathtek Inc. Full-Time | 2nd Shift Potential for Weekend Work Cathtek Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Molding Operator to join our cleanroom production team in Winston-Salem, NC. This position involves molding small components used in catheter-based medical devices, testing and inspecting parts, and packaging components according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior plastics molding experience, preferably with small parts or catheter-based products, and experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment. In-house training is provided for new employees. Key Responsibilities Mold small components used in catheter-based medical devices Follow Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions precisely Perform product testing and inspection to ensure parts meet required standards Package components according to company procedures Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling practices within the cleanroom environment Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals Maintain reliable attendance and follow all safety and quality requirements Required PPE must be worn in the cleanroom for the duration of the shift Preferred Qualifications Two years of plastic molding experience Previous plastics molding experience is a plus Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes is a plus Experience working a cleanroom or other controlled environments is a plus Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and SOPs Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to pass a criminal background check What We Offer A clean, safe, and climate-controlled work environment Stable second-shift schedule with potential for weekend work Opportunity to work on life-saving medical devices Supportive, team-based culture
