Job Scope:

As a member of the BRC Molding Team, the Molding Technician will assist the molding department to produce high-quality rubber products. This position requires reading work instructions to correctly operate the molding machines to produce rubber parts, as well as quality inspecting parts to ensure only high-quality products are sent to customers.

Responsibilities:

Operate multiple hydraulic ovens to produce custom rubber parts Quality inspects rubber parts for defects and other cosmetic issues Read work orders to determine products specifications or materials requirements Utilize hand tools to help with inserting and removing parts Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas using carts Other duties as assigned

Attention to detail with a sense of urgency Multi-tasking Independent thinking with minimal supervision Ability to plan ahead Read and follow written work instructions Basic math (adding, subtracting, using calculator) Mechanical skills a plus
