Responsibilities of the Mold Setup Process Technician Remove and install molds in plastic injection molding machines Perform setup, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting of machines Monitor equipment and adjust control settings as needed Keep accurate records Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Follow all safety and housekeeping policies Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Mold Setup Process Technician Minimum 1 year of experience changing molds Basic understanding of injection molding process Press shutdown and startup experience Material handling experience Experience using overhead cranes, portable gantries, powered pallet jacks, and forklift Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and adapt to frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment The Mold Setup Process Technician works Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm.
