Job Description

Our Seacoast, New Hampshire contract machine shop specializes in 5-axis milling and CNC turning to provide high-quality manufacturing solutions to the automotive, industrial, and aerospace sectors. We are seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Lathe Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate CNC lathe machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Adjust tool offsets, replace and touch off new tools as needed Follow operating procedures as well as recommend improvements Ability to troubleshoot effectively to avoid machine downtime Ability to perform a sequence of operations with little supervision and consistently maintain established quantity and quality performance levels Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Maintain a clean and safe work area. Take an active role in the ISO Quality Management System Receive training as required to maintain Quality System Perform light preventative maintenance on machine Other duties as required
Hours:
Full-time position; Monday
  • Friday 2nd shift hours; 3pm
  • 11:30pm
NOTE:
Training during 1st shift (6:30am
  • 3pm), for at least 2 weeks
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to lift, load and move materials Must be able to stand for long periods of time High school diploma or equivalent Good communication and people skills General math skills Ability to follow instructions Willingness to learn Detail-oriented Must be reliable Integrity is essential
