Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, dependable & motivated Water, Fire & Mold Restoration Lead Technician to join our growing restoration team. The Lead Technician will be responsible for overseeing restoration projects from start to finish. The work will be performed safely, efficiently and to the highest of industry standards while ensuring quality workmanship as well as exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment Duties Lead and coordinate water, fire, smoke, soot sewage and mold restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and quality execution. Perform emergency response duties promptly upon notification of incidents. Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas using specialized equipment such as moisture meters & thermal imaging cameras. Utilize restoration industry tools and techniques including Xactimate estimating software, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and floor drying systems. Apply safety protocols rigorously by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection gear, and adhering to OSHA standards during all operations. Oversee the proper operation of company vehicles and ensure all safety measures are followed during transportation to job sites. Communicate effectively with insurance companies as well as our clients to explain procedures, set expectations, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process. Requirements Proven experience in water damage restoration, fire/smoke/soot restoration as well as mold & sewage remediation, or related fields within the restoration industry. Strong knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards. Ability to respond quickly to emergency calls and work on-call coverage as needed. Construction experience or familiarity with building structures is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Competency in operating power tools, Xactimate software for estimating jobs, and company vehicles safely. Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
