Contract/W-2 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Deburring / Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow with the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for grinding, finishing, and deburring metal parts to ensure safe handling and a smooth, uniform appearance. Key Responsibilities Operate pneumatic tools, including: Angle die grinders Random orbital (D/A) sanders Pedestal grinders with deburring wheels Grind cosmetic and non-cosmetic weldments to a smooth, uniform finish Deburr laser-cut and punch-cut edges using deburring tools or sandpaper Ensure finished parts meet quality and safety standards for handling Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Ability to safely use pneumatic and hand-held grinding tools Previous grinding or deburring experience is a plus, but not required (training available) Strong attention to detail and quality Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Compensation & Growth Entry-level starting wage of $16.00-$17.00/hour Higher starting rate negotiable for candidates with relevant experience Employees who successfully complete the contract term through the agency are eligible for a pay increase upon full-time Stable daytime schedule with early Friday dismissal Opportunity to gain valuable manufacturing skills Clear path to full-time employment Supportive team environment focused on growth and development
