Job Description

Process Technician•Injection Molding (2nd Shift)
Location:
Akron, OH Pay:
$30•35/hr +
Overtime Available Shift:
2nd Shift (3:00 PM•11:30 PM)
Training:
Must be willing to train on 1st
Shift Responsibilities:
Optimize and troubleshoot injection molding processes. Perform mold start-ups, process adjustments, and validations. Work with engineered and commodity resins. Support mold setters, processors, and production personnel. Reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and maximize machine efficiency. Conduct mold trials, pilot runs, and new mold qualifications. Troubleshoot tooling, molding, and process-related issues. Maintain process documentation and production records. Provide technical leadership and support during production.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of injection molding process technician experience. Strong knowledge of mold setup, machine controls, start-ups, and process optimization. Experience with engineering-grade resins. Ability to troubleshoot molding, tooling, and processing issues. Ability to lift 25+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred:
Gas assist molding experience. Leadership or supervisory experience. Experience training operators and technicians. #
PHNIT Pay:
$30.00•$35.00 per hour
