Full Job Description Position:
Mold Setter/Die Setter Location:
Akron, OH Shifts:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and remove molds on plastic injection molding machines. Line up molds and sprue bushings and complete mold mounting. Connect water lines, airlines, thermolators, hydraulic lines, cores, and knock-out plates. Start production, perform processing setups, and adjust presses as required. Troubleshoot mold and press operation issues. Perform minor mold maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and lubrication. Safely operate tow motors, overhead cranes, and related equipment. Follow hazardous energy control and all safety procedures. Complete process documentation and communicate job requirements between shifts. Assist the Shift Foreman with machine and equipment-related issues.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of mold-setting experience on plastic injection molding machines or equivalent experience. Experience operating a tow motor . Knowledge of molding equipment and robots. Valid driver's license. Ability to read instructions, measure accurately, and work safely around machinery.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
